Founders Fellowship
Impact100 Philadelphia is committed to addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion in our membership and our grantmaking. To support this goal, Impact100 sponsors a Founders Fellowship program to encourage young women to learn about philanthropy, the power of collective giving, and critical issues that affect the Greater Philadelphia region.
The Founders Fellowship is a three-year commitment, renewed annually. Fellows make no financial contribution in year one, a $250 contribution in year two, and a $450 contribution in year three.
The Founders Fellowship is available to women from Philadelphia and the surrounding counties (Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery), between the ages of 25 and 35, who are interested in addressing the vital needs of our community through collective giving grantmaking. We seek, and encourage, applicants of diverse lived experiences to apply, in order to bring valuable perspectives to Impact100 Philadelphia’s process. Preference will be given to women for whom the Young Philanthropist membership fee of $575 might pose a hardship.
The Fellowship application process will begin September 1, with an application deadline on October 15. Fellows are selected in October and participate in the work of Impact100 Philadelphia from November to June each year.
Financial Support for the Founders Fellows Program
Through the generosity of our program supporters, all membership fees are waived for first-year Fellows. Donations of any amount are most welcome and appreciated, and support our ability to invite young women to be part of this program.
Timing for Applications & Selection
Fellows are chosen through a competitive process each year. Applications typically open in early fall, and Founders Fellows are selected in October.
