A Letter to Prospective Members

Dear Friends,

Hello from Impact100 Philadelphia! We are sending this message to tell you about our organization — who we are and what we do to make a difference in the Philadelphia region. We would love to have you join Impact100 for the coming year. Please join by November 15, 2021 to be included in our 2022 grant-making year.

Impact100 Philadelphia is a collective grant-making organization that enables women to turn their personal donations into $100,000 grants to nonprofit organizations in the five-county Philadelphia region. Impact100 Philadelphia members can make an impact that wouldn’t be possible as separate individuals: pooling personal donations into something big and meaningful.

Since 2009, our women members have donated more than $4 million to Impact100 to fund our collective grants. Members say their Impact100 Philadelphia experience is gratifying, educational, and fun. They learn about remarkable nonprofit work in our region and spend time with interesting women they might not otherwise meet!

For more information about how Impact100 Philadelphia works please visit the Membership section on our website.

As a member, you choose your level of involvement! From simply investing in the collective fund to serving on committees or taking on leadership roles, our organization has something for everyone. No matter what, you have a vote at the Annual Meeting.

In addition to our grant-making work, we host educational and speaker programs throughout the year (virtually for the time being, but we look forward eagerly to the time when we can meet in person in Center City and surrounding suburbs).

Demographically diverse, our members represent our region. Impact100 Philadelphia welcomes women of wide-ranging ages, cultural backgrounds, and personal experiences. Our members span seven decades from Young Philanthropists in their early 20s to members in their 80s. Professionally, we run the gamut from early-career professionals to the self-employed, retirees,  stay-at-home parents, and women working at all levels in the nonprofit sector, medicine, education, law, and business.

If you’d like to learn more about Impact100 Philadelphia, we welcome your questions via email at members@impact100philly.org and would be happy to talk by phone.

Now in our fourteenth year, we remain excited about the impact of this unique philanthropic model, how we can collectively contribute to our region’s phenomenal nonprofit community, and how we each can find meaning — on our own terms — through our membership. We would love to have you join us for the 2022 grants!
