AVP helps children and youth resolve conflict nonviolently, and assists victims and families in rebuilding their lives in the aftermath of violence. With the Impact100 project grant, AVP expanded its pilot Violence Intervention/Prevention Program in seven K-8 schools and one high school in Eastern North Philadelphia. The program focuses on both intervention and prevention of violence, and reaches children through classroom programs, community outreach and trauma therapy.
