New Sanctuary Movement of Philadelphia (NSM) builds community across faith, ethnicity, and class in its work to end injustices against immigrants regardless of immigration status. The organization welcomes all people, and ensures that values of dignity, justice, and hospitality are lived out in practice and upheld in policy.
Through grassroots organizing led by affected immigrants, New Sanctuary Movement fights and wins immigrant justice campaigns with its members across nationality, faith, class, and immigration status. Its Immigrant Families in Need fund provides direct cash assistance to constituents and is one of many programs aimed at building the individual and collective capacity of the immigrant community. NSM brings people together in solidarity to work for change.
