Taller Puertorriqueño has as its mission to preserve, develop and promote Puerto Rican arts and culture, thus strengthening the Latino community through the arts and supporting increased understanding and appreciation of other Spanish cultures. Taller Puertorriqueño, which is located in one of Philadelphia’s poorest neighborhoods, delivers a broad variety of visual arts and music programming for elementary, secondary and college students and adults.
