What is your Tax ID number?
Impact100 Philadelphia is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and our Tax ID number is 80-0177821.
May I make my membership donation with installment payments?
The installment plan year begins in December with 12 monthly payments, but you can begin at any time during the year by making a one-time catch-up payment. Note that installment payments are nonrefundable donations, and the full membership payment must be received by November 15 in order to be a member for the grants awarded the following June. On the Join/Donate page, select the Installments option.
Do you accept gifts of stock?
Yes. To make a stock donation, please email us at [email protected] and we will send you a stock donation form.
Can I pay my membership with a Donor Advised Fund (DAF)?
Yes. Impact100 Philadelphia is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and accepts payments from DAFs. Our Tax ID number is 80-0177821. In accordance with IRS regulations, we estimate that members may receive $50 of goods and services at events. Members should check with their DAF about this portion of the membership contribution.
Are donations to Impact100 Philadelphia tax-deductible?
Yes. Contributions are tax-deductible for the year in which they were made. In accordance with IRS regulations, we estimate that members may receive $50 of goods and services at events during the course of the membership year.
Can I use a bank ACH transfer to pay my membership?
Yes. On the Join/Donate page, select the Pay Online option. After entering donation information, you’ll have the option to choose a bank transfer.
How does Impact100 Philadelphia allocate my membership donation?
For General Memberships, $1,000 goes directly into the grant pool and $250 goes to support the essential program and operating expenses of Impact100 Philadelphia. For Young Philanthropist members, $500 goes directly into the grant pool and $175 goes to support the essential program and operating expenses of Impact100 Philadelphia.
I want to give more than the required membership donation. May I designate the use of the additional funds?
Yes, and we’re grateful for your additional support. You may choose among three options for additional funds: 1) Support Impact100’s general operations, 2) Direct the extra funds to the grants pool, to increase our grant funds, and/or 3) Support the Founders Fellows program, which sponsors membership for an annual cohort of young women ages 25 to 35.
I want to give more than the required membership donation. Do I get more than one vote?
No. Although additional gifts are most welcome, our founding principle is “one woman, one vote.” Every member gets one vote regardless of the size of her donation.
If my/my spouse’s employer has a matching program, will you accept this donation?
Yes, you can double your impact! We gratefully accept employer matching gifts. Donations matching your membership contribution play an important role as they are applied toward program and operating costs. Please submit a matching request for your donation to your or your spouse’s employer. Some employers will also provide matching donations for retirees.
