Over its ten-year life, Impact100 Philadelphia has been guided by a Board of dedicated member-volunteers. As we move into the next decade of our amazing organization, our accomplishments are limited only by our membership and their willingness to volunteer their time to take on leadership positions. Members, please consider volunteering to serve on the Impact100 Philadelphia Board of Directors.
At this time, the Board of Directors of Impact100 Philadelphia is accepting nominations for the following Director positions:
- Communications Chair
- Nonprofit Liaison Co-Chairs (2 positions open)
- Vice President (VP) (2 positions open)
Please click HERE to read complete descriptions of each position
The Impact100 Philadelphia Board of Directors can best be described as a working Board. There are no general members. Directors plan and execute the activities and programs of Impact100 Philadelphia with their respective committees and in collaboration with other Directors and Board leadership. Many Board positions are shared by design, with Co-Chairs sharing responsibility for circumscribed activities.
The term for each position (with the exception of VP) is two years beginning July 1, 2019 and ending June 30, 2021. The VP position is a one-year term as it is expected that the VP will move into a Co-President position (a two-year term) the following year. This year we are recruiting for 2 VPs. Board meetings are held monthly in the evening, with the exception of July, August, and December when the Board does not meet.
Candidates will be contacted in April, and the board will vote at its May meeting on a slate for these positions. All Impact100 members are eligible for Board nomination. Please consider being a part of our leadership team by nominating yourself or another member for one of these Board positions. Serving on the Board provides a wonderful opportunity to exchange ideas, learn, effect change, and further our mission to support nonprofits in the Philadelphia region.
Nominations or expressions of your interest in serving on the Board in a particular capacity or in the future should be submitted by email no later than April 6 to Claudie Williams. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
