Every 18 months an exceptional group of women convene and we are certain that this year’s conference will be memorable. Impact100 Philadelphia is looking forward to hosting the Women’s Collective Giving Grantmakers Network (WCGN) Sunday afternoon October 21st through Tuesday 23rd at The Logan Hotel. The theme is “We the Women – Changing the Face of Philanthropy” and the programs and speakers promise to inform and inspire.

Impact100 Philadelphia is one of many collective giving organizations across the country.  WCGN, of which we are a member, is one of the largest networks of women powered collective giving organizations. Currently, 60 organizations in 26 states, the District of Columbia and Australia, all members of WCGN, have granted over $100 million to nonprofits in the United States. These numbers are growing. For many Impact100 Philadelphia members, it is a thrill to think of the ripples in the pond that each one of us creates through our commitment to collective giving. Together, we can truly move mountains.

In addition to collective giving, Impact100 Philadelphia and WCGN recognize the value of collective learning. The purpose of the conference is to share ideas on philanthropy, grantmaking best practices and examine the most critical issues affecting the nonprofits we fund. Workshops related to various aspects of the collective giving process, such as membership and diversity are planned. The conference also includes networking opportunities with people from around the country with the shared interest of pooling resources to make a difference in our respective communities.
