On International Women’s Day, March 8, Impact100 Philadelphia was delighted to introduce our organization to dozens of women at Clarivate Analytics, a research technology firm in Center City, that held a special nonprofit forum to explore area volunteer opportunities. Attendees expressed interest in Impact100 Philadelphia as a way to leverage charitable contributions into vetted nonprofits, network with other committed women, and make a difference through direct action.
As our region’s largest women’s collective giving organization, Impact100 Philadelphia representatives are delighted to speak to corporate, social, or civic groups about the difference we can make through our grants and partnerships. By joining, all of our members declare in unison, “I want to make the world a better place.” If you, your club, or your employer would like more information about available Impact100 Philadelphia speakers, please click HERE.
This year’s theme, “Better Balance,” is part of a global effort to support women’s work in corporate, nonprofit, and family life. Clarivate Analytics created a video of “I Want” statements from their employees and nonprofit guests. The purpose of this exercise was to frame goals positively: “I Want” instead of “I Should.” Responses ranged from wanting to feel comfortable with personal style, wanting more professional opportunities, better life balance, and making a difference in Philadelphia.
